Last updated: May 18, 2026.

This policy explains how Jonathan Juliani (“controller”) processes personal data on jonathanjuliani.dev, including the blog, newsletter, and optional analytics.

This text is informational and does not replace legal advice. For specific situations contact us.

Who is the controller

Controller: Jonathan Juliani.

Website: jonathanjuliani.dev.

Data subject contact: contato@jonathanjuliani.dev.

What data we process

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

  • Email address and preferred locale (newsletter).
  • Technical delivery and engagement records for email (mail provider).
  • Browsing data and cookies only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner.
  • Newsletter subscribe, update, and unsubscribe timestamps.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data for the purposes below, with the indicated legal bases under the LGPD:

  • Send the newsletter and welcome emails — consent (LGPD Art. 7, I).
  • Run subscribe, unsubscribe, and bounce/complaint suppression — service operation and legitimate interest in list hygiene.
  • Measure site usage (Google Tag Manager and tags in the container) — consent, only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Respond to data subject requests — legal obligation and rights exercise.

Processors and sharing

We may share data with providers that help operate the site:

  • Supabase — newsletter subscriber storage.
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) — transactional and issue email delivery.
  • Google (Tag Manager / analytics configured in GTM) — only with your consent for analytics cookies.

International transfer

Some providers may process data outside Brazil (for example, the United States). When that happens, we rely on contractual safeguards offered by providers, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) from AWS and Supabase where available for your contract region.

You can request more information about these safeguards through the data-subject channel at the end of this policy.

Retention

We keep newsletter email data while the subscription is active. After unsubscribe, we may retain minimal records as needed to prove consent, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Consent cookies are stored for up to 12 months unless you change your choice earlier.

Your rights

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information on sharing, and withdrawal of consent under the LGPD.

Newsletter unsubscribe is available on the site and via unsubscribe links in emails.

Cookies

We use an essential cookie (jj_consent) to remember your choice about analytics cookies. Analytics tools via Google Tag Manager load only if you click “Accept analytics”.

You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to blog content.

See the Cookie Policy (/privacy/cookies) for a detailed list. You can change your choice anytime via “Manage cookies” in the footer.

Supervisory authority

If you believe your rights were not addressed, you may contact Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) after trying to resolve the matter with us at the email above.

To exercise your data subject rights, use the dedicated channel or email Data subject rights channel ( contato@jonathanjuliani.dev).
